Would like to see some pictures or drawings of your snare swivel makers and how they work to make 9ga. snare swivels. I'm too cheap to buy the commercial ones but if could get some ideas perhaps I can build my own. Thanks!

ADC, you need to buy the T4K Starter Video Set. 20 bucks. Newt shows you how to make one out of junk, make your swivels out of the ceiling hanging wire you can buy at Lowes, and it works great.

The one on the right is store bought, the one on the left I made using the other one for a pattern and will do 9ga wire.

Thanks but I've seen it in your videos Newt, but I want them made of galvinized #9 wire (the ones you show to make are too light for my needs) and I want to make them customized so they work good for my style of snaring.

Here are some pictures I have ADC, I hope this helps, the last one is very simple to see, understand, use and make I think.

I have the store bought one pictured 4 posts above on the right. I can answer some of the questions. Yes it will certainly do #9. Annealed or galvanized. (At least the one I bought at Goshen will and it looks identical.) Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how to make the type of swivels I think you want with it. lol. I do not use that feature and hence have forgotten how to do it. I do believe that you need the other horizontal crosspiece though. I use mine to make twists at the end of a long piece of #9 like shown below. Not what you want, but I know it will do what you want (or what I am thinking you want) as I did some when I first got it. I have just forgotten how. I think that if you built one and messed with it you could probably figure it out. I have to refigure out how to make it do what I want every season anyhow. It isn't that complicated. Nifty tool...

Yes that is the purpose of them. streamlined and faster.

I dont have any pics at the moment, but I made a couple for #9 wire. Works pretty slick. Ill try and get a couple pics sometime.
