My cousin stopped by this week and gave me 2 double barrel shotguns that were her dad's. Since he passed last year she want to keep them in the family. I am grateful for them and will never sell them, but I know nothing about them.
The one is an Iver Johnson and what little I found out on the great Google is it may have been made between 1909 and 1929 (no letter prefix on the serial number)

The other one is a J. Steven's company with an "E" in a circle. The research I did looks like it's from 1953 but I'm not sure.

Any shotgun gurus that may be able to give me more information?
They are both in fair to good condition. I would call them field used.
