jbyrd63 OP trapper J Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 13,196 Ky	Left hand was swollen extremely bad this morning. Old man Arthur flared up again in 3 knuckles. Got in to see rheumatologist and he injected 2 of them. Had 1 couple years back. He said that was the most painful injection of any joint because if the small area. Nurse pulled the joint apart and he then inserted the needle. Sure you heard the screams nittany about 10 am this morning !! Last edited by jbyrd63; 04/24/23 05:29 PM.

I also own a bear bait company and deal with medical grade anise constantly( getting it on my hands) a couple years ago I noticed my arthritis went away and have had no issues at all . One day I looked up what medical grade anise was used for in natural pathic world it is used for rheumatoid arthritis. So I think that is what has fixed my arthritis. Just a thought something you might try. Also 1 year ago I went on carnivore diet and almost all my inflammation is gone and lost 27 pounds. A couple of times I have eaten something with lots of sugar and carbs like at Christmas and o boy do I swell up and hurt for a couple of days . Shakeyjake trapper Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 1,792 Manitoba	Had gout in the hand, didn’t know what it was. Docs thought it was broken but X-rays were good. Blood tests proved gout. Pain was 8 out of 10, and I pounded the rye whiskeys to dull the pain before they diagnosed it……bad idea…lol
