This boat restoration and upgrades has been a lot of fun. I will post a video when I get the seats back in it and hook a hose to it and fire it up. My wife will stay up late in the shop and climb in and out of the boat holding things so I can get a bolt in it. Thanks!
It's a 1974 V-Drive with a bored and stroked 489 BBC in it.
This winter I replaced the fuel tank with a new stainless tank like the original. Installed a new fuel pump, a master battery switch and a billet battery holder. I also replaced the powder coated tunnel ram with a new polished one.
We had to grind clearance for the bottom heads of the headbolts on the bottom of the headers because of the fit on my aluminum heads.
So, it was a lot of on and off with the headers testing the fit. This old man was about to drop, these were a lot heavier than car or truck headers. But a lot easier to get to.
She was a trooper, because it got tense a couple times. But the seniors prevailed and the headers are on and the project is about finished.

Quite a few Sangers around here back.then.
