I've got a bunch of Northwoods #2's. I needed to make them offset so I did some grinding and the outcome wasn't ideal. I was wondering what replacement jaws I need to do the job right. Bridger? or what? Thanks in advance for the help.

As far as I know the Bridgers are a copy of the Northwoods so I would think the Bridger #2 jaws would work as a replacement at least thats the case for my Northwoods #3's.

Yes, I believe the older Bridgers are identical to the Northwoods.

Eh...wot?

Agreed purchase 1 set and give it a try. I did one trap a while back but had it done in a mill. Turned out ok.

Foxhunter IF you are welder...you might want to consider cutting the base and installing the offset jaws. And then welding the base back and then add a base plate. Much easier and NEATER job.

I have converted plenty of #2 low lever Northwoods by simply replacing the jaws with Bridger jaws, both regular and offset. Then replacing the levers with Bridger levers.

The reason I would not agree is, i'm guessing you won't get much for traps with ruined jaws. So it would be probably be a lot cheaper to fix them.

Plenty of states that don't require an off set in a no2. Oregon is one. Northwoods are very good traps. You should be able to sell them for a decent price then get some new offset no2s. I have a few and after base plates and jaw lams are what I use most of the time when a Coyote may be caught or land sets for beaver.
If the jaws are ruined new jaws jaws are the answer though.
