Have jumped several whopper Tarpon when i was a pup living in southern Florida. Never landed any of them. Had a chance, once, to harpoon a massive male Humpback Whale in Tenakee Inlet, Alaska. Had enough sense not to, besides, the long oar I held up as a harpoon likely wouldn't have done anything except tick off the leviathan! I'm sure the Game Warden would have keel-hauled me as well, had I thrown that oar, and rightfully so.

Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.

Friends of mine caught a 30 some pound catfish when we where all fishing together. Big Sioux River by Canton s.d. Boy that's been a long time ago. Let me sugar coat this
