Mines been paid for the last 20 yrs. Means nothing,if they want to take it they WILL!

I worked for an extremely hard core, hard working old guy 40 years ago or so. This was when direct deposit was in its infancy. Some guys on the crew asked for it but he denied them.
Tough old guy who had come thru the depression I’ll never forget his answer:
No you guys bust your cans for me all week long, it’s my job to put your paycheck in your hands, you earned it not the bank I want you to see it. Do with it what you will, my bank will always cash it.
Never did his bank not cash it. To this day I’ve never done it to my employees and in the last few years the businesses I have interest in and say so, do not and won’t.
It is to me one of the last forms of independence, even if it’s all reported.

In most states if not all now your not allowed to own property. You buy the right of limited use. You pay rent on it. You can only use it with permission. You can only build on it with permission. A far cry from ownership.

I am out of debt except for taxes. You can be taxed into bankruptcy also.

The left/commies are predictable. One has only to look at what they have always done which is what Beck did. Murder/violence is a given, along with property confiscation (hello), political imprisonment (Trump), religious persecution, reeducation, etc. etc etc

I think they will likely tax the majority of us out of ownership of property. And make private vehicles to expensive to operate for most. Return to serfdom.

Eminent Domain is obviously a thing. A cursory look appears to suggest it may not be used for strictly economic reasons in Texas et al, and is limited to use by the feds for execution of constitutional powers like the wall.

Yup, this will be repeated here in the future. Study history so you learn from what others did not do.
