Northof50 trapper N Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 8,280 Manitoba	The tooling for another trap manufacture is way too expensive. about 2005 or 6 they had to re-jig the 120 press and those traps were 1/3 inch larger than the last runs were quite a few trappers got caught with tight fitting boxes then when they mixed traps of the Belisle

I have 6 dozen or so duke 120's and caught a lot of marten with them but they are not magnum so the jaws don't close tight enough. Just welded on a small triangle shaped of scrap metal to one jaw, it still closes fast and now it closes all the way. No need for more expensive traps.......jk Free people are not equal. The last time I measured a Belisle 120 was as tall as a Bridger 155. I'll check that and get back to you. I have no problems killing fishers with the Belisles.
