My other favorite birds are, dicksissle, and red cockated woodpecker (a 2 for the price of one right there). My grandfather once told me of his favorite bird, the red-headed double-breasted bed thrasher, but I can't find it in any of my bird books. It may well be extinct. He did mention that they were hard to come by, and should be avoided at all cost as they are very dangerous, or something like that.

They remind me of Cedar Waxwings. And since you have 2 you have Tufted Titmice. If one leaves you have a Tufted Titmouse.

Yup, yer Grandpappy was right, also beware of the brown breasted pillow thrasher. I keep warning Leftlane all the time. Charlie

I can't say Charlie hasn't tried to warn me. I am beginning to identify with that ol Ray Kennedy song.
