I was speaking to word usage. Nice little gray birds with cool hair doo. I would guess singular would work like deer is for one or multiple or if you prefer titmice definitely not titmouses.

My other favorite birds are, dicksissle, and red cockated woodpecker (a 2 for the price of one right there). smile
My grandfather once told me of his favorite bird, the red-headed double-breasted bed thrasher, but I can't find it in any of my bird books. It may well be extinct.
He did mention that they were hard to come by, and should be avoided at all cost as they are very dangerous, or something like that.

Yup, yer Grandpappy was right, also beware of the brown breasted pillow thrasher. I keep warning Leftlane all the time. eek
