we have this amish donut store called mamies donuts 3 miles from our house and for most the summer i found myself in there every morning to get some before heading off to work! it got bad enough they would have the donuts waiting for me for when i walked in! since then i cut back on them a bit!

Lon’s Doughnuts in Scottsburg,Indiana. He’s been around for 50 years. A Crispy Cream came in a few years back in the local Walmart. I stayed for about a year, then they went out of business, then another doughnut shop came in about 4 years ago , they lasted 2 years. But Lon’s is still king. You can’t eat just one or two, you have to force yourself to quit.

At Cops and Donuts you can buy day old at $5 for a dozen. Whatever is in that case.

SJK... dang.lol

A donut aint exactly a health food I know..fried or baked.

I don't like cake or cookies or pie..donuts are my thing but I dont.lime just any donuts..the have to be yeast donuts..light and airy.

We hav3 a Krispy Kreme donut shop not too far and when the lights on..yum yum.

I like Amish donuts too..meets bakery has the best ones I've found yet.

4 mile bakery in jackson OH are good but they're pricey.

I like plain glazed best.

They're a good food for the trapline because Jerry can eat them on the go

The top left was a cinnamon roll donut..no apple.filling but they're good..thwy didn't have apple fritters.

They had lemon and raspberry filled but I do t get them much because Jerry doesn't like them.

I don't need them but I will treatys3lf once in a while.if they're good.

JRs donuts in parkersburg are good but they're on the smaller.side but the have alot.of varieties

IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !

Now I need to look up Paczki and see what part of the world they originate from. The word sounds delicious!

The best around here are made by an Amish lady and sold Saturday mornings at a local store.

The best I've had around here is sadly no more. A couple ladies selling some crafts out of a little building on the side of hwy 19 about halfway between Zebulon and Thomaston.

Plain glazed, no jelly filled or crullers, just plain old fashioned lard fried doughnuts and icing sugar glazed.

You almost always got them hot from the grease.

I never made that trip without stopping in for a dozen or two.

The best donuts ever come from the donut stop from the donut stop in Shenandoah Iowa.
