Paul Dobbins OP "Trapperman custodian" Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 16,626 Goldsboro, North Carolina	This was probably around 1991 or so. I was still in the AF and doing some local trapping here in NC. This is dad looking at some beavers I'd brought home. There were a few light colored ones in there that looked like western beavers.

Paul Dobbins OP "Trapperman custodian" Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 16,626 Goldsboro, North Carolina	We have a light beaver and a normal colored beaver around here. Where I worked for the timber company in a different river basin, there were no light beavers in the thousands that I caught. The light colored ones had pinkish feet and tails, but normal colored eyes. Here's a picture showing the contrast.
