My wife's kia serento started having a knock in the lower end about 8 months ago. Found out, kia had a class action lawsuit on the engines due to main bearings going bad.
Long story short.
Kia put a new engine with unlimited mileage.
Redid any thing that was questionable. New hoses, dang near everything.
So, basically we got ourselves a new vehicle.
Plus a 12/12 warranty on the rest of the engine and unlimited mileage on the bearings.
Plus it only took about 3 weeks. So, overall. My wife and i are pleased with customer service.
Zero dollars out of pocket.

In and around Columbus, Ohio, Kia's are stolen at an amazing rate by black teenagers and preteens. Rather than go after the problem, thieving young blacks, Columbus is suing Kia for the costs incurred investigating the thefts of Kia's by thieving young blacks.

https://www.10tv.com/article/news/l...530-d6d1db14-fda1-4cb1-9f39-20e0df56dc12

The thieving young blacks get in lots and lots and lots of accidents, which they are of course not responsible for in a liberal city.

""It's time for Kia to step up. This is absolutely unacceptable to put so many young people at risk, families at risk. Kia needs to step up and help solve this problem,” argued Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther."

The parents of thieving young blacks, across the country are suing Kia and Hyundai for the injuries and deaths their thieving young black children have experienced in the cars they stole. It's not the the thieving young blacks' fault, in any liberal city.

AND, increasingly, insurance co's are refusing insure them! But, glad you're happy with it.

Safer to have them easy to steal-otherwise they will just blow little old lady's head off and jack the car.

That's white people's fault too because according to black community leaders, those despicable white people have made it to easy for thieving young black people to steal firearms from them to kill each other and white people with.

once this problem started to happen i Canada, Kia sent out to owners to do the 50 cent replacement so a simple computer cord could not hi-hack the cars switch
USA under the former president balked at the idea and there it stands

even the youtube videos took a while to take down how to do it but they did it
and Tic-tac still has them up for every XXXXXXX to see.

We have 2017 Sorento with the 292HP V6. Nicest vehicle we have ever owned. Fast, beautiful ride quality, very good MPG for an AWD, seats 7, pulls trailers well and had 5 year bumper to bumper warranty (which we never used). Id buy one for myself as well, if the prices of vehicles had not gone sideways. 10 years ago I said it would be a frosty Friday in he!! before I ever bought a KIA. Glad I ate my words.

I bought my daughter a used Kia Rio back in her college days. She drove the heck out of that car. I think it’s been in every state in the lower 48 and many of them multiple times. Very little in the way of repairs for all the miles put on it. It’s very reliable and gets great gas mileage.

I still have it. She works overseas now but we keep it registered, inspected and insured so she had something to drive when she’s home on vacation.

Eh...wot?
