Selling to a local buyer this go around since I didn't have much to sell. Wishing now I would have sold at Lonoke because I have a dozen or so beaver from last spring. Who knew green beaver would average close to $30.

Something isn't quite adding up correctly with Arkansas results. The reported gross sales of the auction is $15867. 422 beavers, at the averages quoted, sold for a total of $16,156.50
Somewhere, someone's math is just like mine when I'm over tired! Either the gross sales were much higher than reported or the beaver average was quite possible a bit lower? Still very respectable prices for Southern beavers though.

Next time you all sell to Groenewold, tell them you want what they paid at the Arkansas auction. Their man bought all the beaver. Every one of them.

Pretty simple for groenwold, go spend a little in Arkansas to get a super high average price on beaver to get everyone excited for beaver trapping, then buy a bunch of beaver for super cheap on their new 'beaver routes' after the state sales and FHA pickup has passed.
