Wednesday had a small pain in the same kidney that I got 3 stones crushed on December 8th Went to urologist and his X-ray showed possible stone but that was Friday and I hadn’t had anymore pain since Monday. He said watch it and chugging water should pass it . Friday night and all day today the pain just got worse. Ended up at ER from 4 until about an hr ago . CT showed 5 mm stone 2 inches below the kidney. Meds and chugging water but if it doesn’t pass by Monday afternoon contact urologist and go get it ! Urologist took blood and I’m doing a 24 hr sample beginning on Monday to see what is causing them .

Keeps up I’m opening a rock quarry help pay for food !!!

Drink strong lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. The acid will dissolve the stones. I know what you are going through! Good luck.

Weird thing is I had 3 treated in December that they found in October by blind luck . Had zero pain then . One of them was lodged in tube and final went and got that one and crushed the others This one hurts! Still not moving much if any and chugging water is putting pressure in the kidney. Er doc gave me flomax prescription but too late last night and pharmacy don’t open until noon .

Ihave problems with them all the time. My Urologist told me it was Mt. Dew so I switched to spring water. Still get them. Had one that they had to remove as an outpatient surgery. When I told the guys I work with two told me to Man Up and Deal with it.Then I told them my Doctor wanted to make sure my wife was there to give me a ride home because they were going to put me completely under to go in to retrieve it. The same idiots told me that I did not need to be put under just get a local. When I told my Doctor this he was straight out with me. He said he would REFUSE to go up inside of me to get it out unless I was completely under. He said other wise I would need to be Strapped to the Bed and the screaming would be heard through the Hospital and scare other patients He assured me I NEEDED to be completely under. Guess what!! I took HIS MEDICAL ADVICE over my co-workers!!!

Know what your going through, have a whole bottle of them stickers, some as big as a pencil eraser and longer !

You have to change your diet, and your liquid intake needs increasing, no other way around them !

I just take pain pills now when one won't pass, all my relatives and immediate family know to save what's left of their prescriptions, when they have to have them and don't use them all, some times gone months babying them along, good thing
is every large one makes it less pain full for the small ones.

Best thing I ever found besides having them blasted is to drink lots of water, and go on a motorcycle ride, usually a half hour makes enough vibration to move them into your bladder.

What is really unnerving is when one gets stuck on the way out and you can feel it stuck, thats what makes me worry
up side is that they don't have to go in very far to pull them out !!

Good luck but change your diet now, or they just get worse !!

Hopefully this will help take your mind off of it. My grandpa went to the hospital 3 weeks ago for stones, he’s 86 I believe. . Now mind you, he already has a pill bottle at home that’s about a third full or rocks. He passed 3 at the hospital and these approximately 35-40 additional stones are in still in his bladder. Last Monday they busted up the rest of them left in the kidneys. The big one was 12 mm. I’ve had 3 the past few years so I’ve been through it. I’m not sure how he was still functioning.
