Great pictures. Glad you took them! You gonna take one this year too? I won't have a lot of fur this time to photograph, but yeah, I gotta take a pic.

I just want to know your secret to avoiding possum as it's amazing i don't see a single possum hide in any of those collections, lol. Possums were not avoided except when it came to skinnin' 'em....trust me on that. Averaged about 100/year...

Thanks! Several other local old guys and myself were sitting around talking a couple days ago about what would come of our deer mounts and racks (and our other taxidermy) when we died. We all reached the conclusion that they would likely end up in a BassPro or Cabela's or over the fireplace at Cracker Barrel. Not even our family would want our mounts/racks in their home..... ....that got me to thinking more about all the pics I have. With the rain yesterday I began looking thru my digital trapping pics. The fun continues.....

Your correct about all the mounts, i was asked about mine a long time ago by a well known trapper and told him probably after the funeral my family will pile all this crap up in the yard and burn it, he found that funny but i was serious.
Same with all the old trapping pictures.
Not my circus, not my clowns.

Earliest pic posted was 2005. Latest was 2022 (green beaver and otter.) I have tons of 35mm pics back into the late 70s-early 80s. 1st grey fox was in 1978. 1st coyote was 1982. Both caught in Victor #2 dbl longsprings. Even have pics of those.... I need to get all those old pics digitized......for someone...lol I was learning all along the way and I'm still learning.... Btw...today's catch pic....
