Great last check with two more wolves. We’ve had a really mellow winter so far. By mellow I mean between -10 and -35 for the past 2 months. It’s dropped down into the -50s but not for more than a few days at a time. Not sure if the warm weather has had an effect on the low wolverine numbers, but I hope they start to show up soon. I have another 16+ wolf snares to boil and set. So I’ll be doing that in the coming week along with thawing out and skinning the first wolf and lynx.
I'm hooked. The ride along is incredibly well filmed, narrated, and put together for the trapping enthusiast as well as anyone loving the outdoors! Very well done indeed.
Good stuff. Noticed using ear muffs. Started doing that on the 2 strokes years ago for hearing protection but quickly found out a lot warmer that way too. Switched to 4 strokes about 8 years ago and kept the ear muffs. No one bothers a helmet around here except kids and trail riders. Not practical for working with. No one uses foot traps for marten here now for at least 30 years. All 120 type conibear traps and no issues.
Oh man wearing earmuffs make a world of difference when it comes to keeping your head warm, especially while driving and having some music or podcasts playing through the Bluetooth make the time fly by. Glad everybody is liking the videos. Another check today it’s always fun never knowing what you might catch.
Congratulations on the two wolves. 3,000 lumans wow. What make was that headlamp need a strong one and would like to look into that. I like the battery pack on the body to keep it warm.

Thank you for posting these nice videos. What a great positive attitude you have. Can you tell us more about you? How long is your line and how many working sets do you average ?

"Tap on his name, then tap on show posts. They're all there" Well maybe you could show me which post cause there's a lot of posts. I read most of his posts and I do not recall the information. All I know is he is from Venetie Alaska. I have figured out he is Gwichin which is a First Nations people of Alaska and Canada.

Thanks for watching! I’m married with two kids and 9 dogs. One of my loops is a little over 30 miles and other smaller ones hitting different areas surrounding my village. My 30mile loop is still not connected. Hopefully soon. Wow amount of sets can vary wildly o can definitely come up with a number this season but will prolly be in my next video. Thanks for all the great feedback
