1lessdog OP trapper 1 Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 676 N. Dakota	I have a pair of my Grandpa boots that he wear in a steel mill in Oregon. They have to be the most uncomfortable boots to wear. Anyone seen anything like them?

randall brannon trapper R Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 4,391 west virginia usa	SWe wear something similar to that underground but the Steel is covered with a layer of Hard Rubber so it does not spark and cause an explosion. We use another with hard Steel Spikes about an inch and a half long to dig in when Roof Bolting and help keep you from spinning when the Bit gets dull and Binds up. God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

Keeps you from spinning, I think thats a good way to break a wrist or arm.
