I dont see any practical use for something like that.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

They are great for tearing up perfectly good snowmobile trails, weaving all over in wet snow and leaving deep frozen ruts. They have gotten popular here with the weekend beer drinking crowd. I'm not sure if they are capable of going straight, I've never seen a straight track from one anyways. The power I think depends on the bike they are mounted on, some of the guys climb some amazing hills and drop off into some gullies I never would with them, I think momentum has a lot to do with their performance though.

How long is the track on the RMK. If it's a shorter one-156?-with shorter lugs-it might be just fine for what you want to use it for. Scratchers will keep it cooling ok on a trail. Any longer and it might not be the best. I have a 173 inch track with 3 inch lugs and it is a very poor trail machine. Scratchers are worthless on it. But deep snow is no problem at all. On the motorcycle sleds. You would never believe where they go out in the mountains. I can't believe there is guys with enough guts to go where they go! Not for me.

Thanks for all the responses. I knew I'd get mixed responses, which is OK, I definitely want to weigh all the pros and cons. I should've added it's a 2013 with 155" track. I've had a chance to talk to a few locals that have a similar machine, so I've been able to get some good insight there.

As far as the dirt bike-looking snow machine, I'd have to take a hard pass on that. I'd definitely tip over!
