After months of asking dumb questions on here I finally put the good answers I got to use. Today I got my first real catch, a nice sized beaver in a 330 with Dobbins Backbreaker on a castor mound! If I could figure out posting pictures I would, but I cant... I still had to put this up just to say thank you so much for all the help you all have given me. I make sure everyone ive talked to has known that I've dreamed of catching a beaver since I watched Jeremiah Johnson at 6 years old so this was literally a lifelong dream come to fruition. Very nice, I remember catching my first Beaver it was 43 years ago remember it like yestaday, Beaver trapping rocks, the aroma and icy rivers, home sweet home!! Congrats on your catch.

That's the plan! I love being outside and doing the things I love because my pappaw took the time and the energy to teach me exactly how to do it and why we do it. I teach everything I know to anybody who will listen. I have two buddies I'm teaching to duck hunt now, and a little brother I'm teaching to hunt.

Beaver has been skinned, is in my freezer for the tannery, and I got another!
