I just got some used traps that have been painted, then dipped in Full Metal Jacket. I've been told FMJ does not do well when used on traps that will go in the water. Does FMJ come off easily with a pressure washer at a car wash, or is there a better way?

Why do I carry 10mm? Because shooting twice is just silly.

For water traps you could let it wear off. I do nothing to my water traps, except new ones get a coat of paint mostly for anti theft

I heard it becomes sticky / gummy in water though. Is this not the case? I plan on using Formula 1 once I get the FMJ off of them. Several have mentioned that it is a stellar coating for water traps.

Would the ol' vinegar trick work to remove this FMJ stuff?
