First trapping book I ever bought when I was 13. Ordered it from RP outdoors out of Louisiana. It was like Christmas day when it came in.

First lure I ever had, got it in a deal selling coons to a local Furbuyer. As a kid it smelled like a Hobo's taint in mid July but dang if it didn't increase my catch. Little brown bottle with a metal cap. My second was Blackies. Wish I would have read the book.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Where did you find the Hardcover edition of that Book ? All I can find, is the softcover editions.

Do not remember where I bought it or when but just looked and 11 th edition. Pages are highlighted and still barely together. Back in early 70s everything was not discussed. The book was helpful to a new trapper

Received my copy in 1965. Had been trapping (or I thought so) for a couple of years.
Figured it was the Holy Grail of trapping.
