Anyone have good luck live trapping rabbits…… need to get them out of the backyard before they multiply this Spring. Want to live trap before I take a more terminal approach….

330 showed me a top notch little homemade trap and it does the job. I hope he chimes in.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

I caught dozen as a kid. Simple plywood box trap with half a salted apple on trigger.

Box trapping rabbits is what got me into trapping as a kid. I second using wood traps. The more seasoned the wood the better. Never have done well with fresh wood. Find wood from an old barn or even better a hollow log. Used to sell them live to the beagle guys for a dollar a piece as a kid. I was rich!!
Gotta live up to the nickname...

Yep. Wood like others have mentioned. Back in the day as kids we ran a line with wooden box traps. The local beagle club would pay us $ 5.00 per rabbit. That was a lot for a 10 year old in 1981!!!
