I'm interested too. Got a jug of it in the basement. Its a strange year. Haven't set but 1 coyote trap and the farmer mowed over it.

Tried it this year and am pleased. Didn't get out nearly the number of traps I usually do but didn't seem to have any refusals.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I have always thought that FMJ was nothing but Zep with a different label. Been using Zep on my traps for three years and haven't seen any issues at all with them. After trapping season I clean them off and hang them up outside for a month or so. Then dip them in Zep and let them drip dry. Then leave them hanging for another month. Put them away in plastic totes with a couple of branches off cedar tree in the tote with them. Come a few weeks before trapping season I hang them outside till I need them on the line.

You can buy liquid floor wax by the 55 gallon drum and call it liquid trap wax. Necina fur co carried it back in the 80’s. In quart bottles

[quote=clintp1971]Been using Zep’s for years[/quote Do you mix it with something to color it? I heard that you can take the gloss out of gloss paint by adding corn starch. I wonder about the polish?

Yes and not painting or dyeing. Just dip bare trap and chain in Zep and let it dry.
