Michigan started playing football in 1879, Ohio State in 1890... and OSU has almost as many wins in 11 less years of playing intercollegiate football.

The NIL, transfer portal, BCS and NFL draft has made the bowls meaningless.

When these schools have half of their seniors opting out and juniors transferring it's just not a game.

Alabama started in 1892, Notre Dame in 1887. I should hope Michigan has more wins with a decade head start on everyone else lol

Looks like Clemson wrote a bigger check to this Big10 crew than Tennessee did. Pass interference only being called one way

Ok wait a minute !!! Mich has been playing Football for 143 years and only won 9 titles ? !!!!

he University of Michigan has officially won the National Championship in college football nine times
OH CRY O has 8 in 132 years

Bama has 18 !! YES EIGHTEEN !!!
1 in front of the 8
How many championship rings does Alabama have?

18th
Alabama has now won its 18th NCAA Football Championship and its 3rd in the College Football Playoff era. The Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes in the National Championship game by a final score of 52-24, a dominant performance by College Football's most dominant team! Nov 8, 2022
Dang that butt spanking must still hurt !!
No wonder you guys hate bama so much. You are the self proclaimed KINGS of college football. ADD your championships together and your still 1 short of bama's total !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT you northern boys got a chance to add to yours while bama seeks to win a meaningless bowl game !!!!!

Oh but wait you guys suck it up bad playing against a team that is south of the mason dixon line !!!!!!!!! What 1 win in 14 years against a southern team?

That’s on the coach and the players they get. Gotta give Saban credit that his stars aren’t opting out, says a lot about the players and the coach. If a team is made up of guys who care so little about their teammates they won’t play in a bowl, that team won’t win a championship anyways. It’s a TEAM sport and a TEAM will win, so like I said obviously Saban knows something about character when recruiting that most of the rest of the SEC schools don’t if they have so many opt outs. It’s still a game and (not) surprisingly the momentum matters.

Look at LSU last year, lots of opt outs, blown out of the water by KSTATE and this year not too impressive for them. While the wildcats rode the momentum to a big 12 championship.

Ohio state is gonna get the brakes beat off them tomorrow.
Michigan will probably beat TCU
Then in a couple of weeks the dawgs will beat Michigan again and be national champs. Again

JBR, that's a fair commentary.
Us Maize and Blue fans hope the wolverines are hungrier this season than most.

I saw a Wolverine once in British Columbia while archery hunting for mountain goats. In those moments, I witnessed an animal with stamina - at 11,000 feet elevation - no other animal has. It wears down its prey...... wink grin

WOW! I found a stat that has the buckeye crickets knee deep to a 9 ft Eskimo! I can’t believe I hadn’t mentioned that before! The chest thumping and towel waving “ top five program every year “ ain’t squat ! Just tells me they can’t finish the deal ! Hard to have a come back to numbers like that .... just saying

Good luck to everyone’s team . Going to be on the road all day so I’ll miss most of the football until GA game But think the total championship numbers is good place to drop the mic !

Lol lol lol

I went to bed at halftime, congrats to Tennessee for their win over Clemson.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

You did DH and I listened so well.... I shuffled off to buffalo when the game hit halftime.
A freshman quarterback did pretty well considering. When the clock ran out to end the 1st half, I knew Katie was singing.

And there's people who think a expanded playoff is a good thing. If your team isn't one of the top four. Why would any of these jocks want to risk playing 4 more games. I like the old system it made for better arguments. laugh

Im not going to lie, it was nice to see Tennessee win that game, sure seemed like they wanted it more than Clemson. After 15 years of misery im happy to have something to cheer about. Hopefully the games today will be good ones. Im a Tennessee fan but would like to see TCU win it all, although I don't think they will

Does K State realize you don't get points for winning time of possession? K State fans noticeably absent in this thread now
