Raise them to be caring, tough, smart and independent people. As importantly, be good to them.

I came down with a pretty good case of the flu yesterday. While making coffee this morning, I was surprised that both my high school daughter and my college daughter were up and dressed.

They knew Dad was sick and were not going to let him run the line by himself. The girls did more than just get gates. They hauled gear and animals out. I was happy when they even posed for a few pics.

We get back what we put into kids. Very proud Dad--even though it was my kids that gave me the flu!

Thanks Danny. We like it. This year I have been thinking a lot about diversity of habitat as it relates to trapping. As you can see in the pics I have scrubby grassland and river/creek bottoms. After over a decade of trial and error, I am getting better at adapting to each.

She told me not too long ago that if she gets married she wants me to give her away. I have to say my allergies really kicked in pretty hard when she said that.
