Go local.

At any rate never trust Bank of America. Got completely ripped off by them. Actually sued and got a $10,000 settlement from them when they owed me $70,000.

Long story, just don't trust them.

You need to figure out what you need a bank to do for you and than find a bank that fills those needs. I don't think any bank does everything well.

Our current Bank was but they don’t have any help now. I don’t know if they figure everybody is doing online banking but it is ridiculous. Stopped by 3 branches today and all three were the same, a line to the door, drive thru around the building and two tellers.

Lots of shady banks, had a construction acct while building my present home, that had a whopping $10 balance in it after the home was done and ready to be converted into a mortgage.

That $10 was mine, already paid the construction loan off, time wasn't up, and it disappeared.

Paid off the mortgage the next day and switched to a credit union, bank president couldn't believe it and called me....Told him if they had no problem stealing $10, then a larger amount wouldn't bother them either....

That same bank president went down for embezzlement 6 mos later.

We have been with a local bank since 1975 and won't change. They now have 3 branches and have been veryl successful for a century. They have been able to not be bought out as several larger banks wanted to buy them out years ago.

We have new banks popping up all over town and tired of mine. Turn around is incredible as it seems I never see the same person twice in a row. Used to be I knew most everyone and most knew me as well. Business went fast and smooth then, not like today.

Check into credit unions, might not rat ya out for what purchases you choose to make.

Do you personally have an account with them? If so, how long have you had it?

SoFi if you're into digital banking, local credit union if you rather go brick and mortar.

PNC. Free checking with direct deposit. 4 percent on a savings account. No minimum deposit. Fully staffed. Online banking. Also 2 outside ATMs at each branch. Along with drive thru banking. Personally I do all my banking thru the ATM or online. Have been with PNC for 15 yrs. Great customer service as well
