BMI single spring 160 are my favorite.

Oops, I guess they are 6’ traps…

Belisle Super X 120’s. Hands down the best I’ve ever used.

Why do I carry 10mm? Because shooting twice is just silly.

Belilse 120s. Marten don't even twitch after triggering, we caught an adult Lynx in one, know of a fellow who caught and held a Wolverine in one.

RGB 126. Works great in a wooden cubby for coon. They also work very will in woodchuck holes and are legal to set on land in Ohio. I want to try the Bridgers also.

Belisle Super X 120’s or Rudy's. Only use one dozen Rudy's for a few weeks but so far so good.

I had more than 10 dozen Bridger 155's and sold them at half price. someone told me last year that they had been improved so I bought 2 dozen to test. All I will say is I will never use one again. This is for marten & fisher trapping.

My body grip collection is small (maybe 4 doz total), but diverse. I have at least a couple from most makers. Day in, day out use, BMI were the best traps for the money, and if they were still around, that is all I would by. But they seem to have gone belly up. And maybe Victor too. So of those remaining, looks like Belisle, Duke and Bridger. Every Bridger I have had to be fiddled with to work. The 150 would not say set. The 160 would not fire. Eventually had to put Belisle trigger on that that and it's now a killer 160. But unless Bridger quality control gets better, going to be Duke and Belisle as all that are left. Of those, I'd say you get what you pay for.

Belisle 120 is best 120 I have. Has held a coon with backfoot catch. Don't ask.

As for the 5 x 5, largest dryland trap we can set is a 5 x 5, so at recommendation of some on here, got one of these to try. For no bigger than it is, it is a beast. 1/4" bar stock and stout springs to match, but very stiff trigger. But whatever sets that trap off is in big trouble.

I only got a dozen 5 inch body grips. Their RBGs I had Bill Crum make for my when DNR was talking like we might loose 160s on land. Couldn't get a coon to stuff their melon in one on trail. They work well for rats.
