I believe that is what you would spend it on Maury.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Trying for Real gift ideas here Not on a list but a friend has another friend that gets deep discounts on a lot of tools. 40 to 60% off dewalt and others. I needed some more 20volt batteries. The price was outstanding so I added one of the drill drivers and a 1/2" cordless inpact. Says on its highest setting the inpact will do 1400 foot lb and 100 on its lowest. Got 2 5 Amp hour batteries. Cost to me was 315. Thinking about another .30cal supressor.

When I fly over to the road system on the 13th, I plan on getting another carry pistol, and my wife just gave me $300.00 from her baby sitting money to put towards it. Going with either a Kimber Micro 9, A Sig 938, or a S and W Shield plus with manual safety. Have no experience with the Shield, but it is on sale at Bass Pro for $409.00; however, it is not a 1911 style pistol, which is a con in my book, love 1911 style triggers, safety, looks.

My wish has been and will continue to be this Christmas Season that God, who is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness and truth would bring peace (shalom) to so many, many, many, many people I've come to know - just this year - who are struggling, suffering, or dying. It's been a difficult time for them.
Oh and please take the "X" out of any reference to the reason we celebrate the "Christ"mas holiday. Xmas is just another ploy to scrub anything of God in a nation who could use more of Him right now. I'm a MERRY CHRISTMAS! and HAPPY NEW YEAR! kinda trapper. Not a watered down secular version of Happy Holidays.
Blessings, Mark

I might buy a new thermal for one of my AR10s and let my wife wrap it. Sounds like a great way to kill some coyotes.

I'll probably just use it on hogs, but coyotes are generally targets of opportunity around calving season. Otherwise, I trap them. My son is learning to predator call so he may borrow (swipe) the thermal if I buy one.

Blessings, Mark I think the "X" in "Xmas" is an ancient acronym/shorthand for "Christ". I think it goes back a long time before there was a ploy ot scrub God from our nation. In fact, I think it goes back long before we were a nation. Just saying this from one Xian to another. I don't use the term "Xmas" but I have a different understanding of what it means.
What from Christ that soul can sever, Bound by everlasting bands? None shall take thee From the Strength of Israel's hands.

As its getting colder I'll probably get the usual coal for the stove. Santa sure is thoughtful in that way I somehow like the guy. He saves me from being out in the weather chopping more firewood.

In fact, I think it goes back long before we were a nation. Just saying this from one Xian to another. I don't use the term "Xmas" but I have a different understanding of what it means. The history of the Greek word Christos which has a translation of the Greek "Chi" into the English "X" has a long history, yes. All the way to the ancient church itself. I don't believe that's what modernists in our time have done (translate the Greek into English), but rather they've subjugated and infused commercialism into the season with Xmas (like Xmen, X rated = denoting generality) or scrubbed the reason for the season altogether with an insistence on the phrase "Happy Holidays" only. If people use Xmas to denote the Greek language orthodox heritage of that term, referring only to Jesus as the Christ, that's perfect. Blessings, Mark
