Received an e-mail yesterday. It looked official from Amazon saying my account was suspended because of suspicious activity and I would not be able to access my account until I followed the link in the email. (which wanted my password) If I didn't do this within 3 days, my account would be permanently locked. Turns out I was just in my Amazon account before I read this email, so that and the permanently locked thing made me smell a rat. The email looked really legit. The format was perfect and had all the logos and everything looked in order. The only thing that was completely off was the email address from where it came. It had about 30 letters and numbers, with a @mdmail.com If you were not suspicious and didn't catch it, you could click that link and give up your password. It's one of the best phishing scams I have seen. Just beware and if you get one of these emails, report it to Amazon.

I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

Don't ever click email links...go directly to your account to investigate. Almost always a scam!

Seems like its almost daily with some of these sites that you get these emails. Depending on your email client, you can force the client to show the email address of the sender instead of the fictitious display name

My social security got suspended the other day by the attorney general of Texas, LOL.
