My electric bill was 3 TIMES higher , when I had an electric water heater. I could only guess as to how much it would be, if I had electric water heater, electric hot water Boiler to heat my house, AND and electric stove.. And what about al those people that have the natural gas powered standby electric generators? If they break down, that will mean they can't be replaced !

I can see a lot of people going to PA, to buy their gas appliances, and trucking them back to NY !

Better go ahead an get some spares, doubt much will get any cheaper

How much coal was burned in New York City to make it the metropolitan giant it is today?

And then what about firewood ? Thousands of NY’ers heat with wood, and use Natural gas or heating oil systems as a back up. Of course the Amish will be exempt from these regulations.

I am enjoying the misery those that let us down in 2020 are experiencing. The energy cost is about the only thing that is impacting us right now thanks to the gardening and canning we did.

I'm not sure NY state is large enough in land mass to support both 100% renewable energy and it's population. Guessing they will be replacing fossil fuels with electricity bought from the national grid, produced by fossil fuels in other states. But, we are green! Hahaha!

lol, company I worked for did away with “company vehicles”, the employees had to use their own and the company paid mileage. Immediately reduced their carbon footprint by moving it to the employees.
