I didn’t tag out this year and the 26th is the last day of rifle season.
I don’t have a muzzle loader, this week the 28th to the 3rd is muzzle loader only.

I got this on my Camera while I was at work this morning.

Welll, I can’t borrow one because everyone I know that has one is using it. I ran over to a couple local gun shops after work and no one had one on the shelf.
Looks like I’ll have to let him grow another year.

Is your bow season still in? Here could be back out with bow it doesn't close any more during our gun hunting. But guess you need open bow tag.

We can Hunt with a bow until the end of rifle season, but not during muzzle loader season (week). We don't require any special tags for the different seasons.
I always buy:
Res Hunt -- $26.00 + $2.00 = $28.00
Res Archery -- $26.00 + $2.00 = $28.00
Res Bear Hunt $10.00 + $2.00 = $12.00
Coyote Night Hunt -- $4.00
Res Crossbow Hunt $26.00 + $2.00 = $28.00 <---- I don't even own a cross bow but it requires a class so I took it just to have the license.
Res Fish $25.00 + $2.00 = $27.00
= $127.00

Muzzle loader is an additional $13.00 plus agent fee of $2.00 so $15.00 total on top of the over $100 I already spend on licenses and permits every year. not including trapping licenses just for the state of Maine.

Res Trap -- $36.00
Bear Trap -- $10.00

The only two licenses I don't have are, Registered Maine guide and Falconry. I'll do my Guide license when I have less iron in the fire.

They had 3 smoke pole at the shop I was in today. One was the silencer co model with suppressor built in for 970. No tax stamp or 4473 on that one.

Hey Griffin21, it is 2022, if you get checked tell them that your deer rifle self identifies as a muzzleloader! smirk

I had one tag to fill when our season ended here as well. So I bought a muzzle loader and watched a few videos. 4 days later, I filled my tag. Sometimes we have to improvise.
