Howdy!

I want to get some tails professionally tanned and can't seem to find a place now that speciality leather closed. I know randy does some but couldn't remember if he did that just for his own products or will tan tails for others. I searched and didn't turn much up but then again I am not to handy with the intetweb stuff. Thanks for any help!

I have heard of a new tannery starting up here in MN that will do beaver tails but don't know much more as to who or when they plan on opening up their doors.

Hough Fur Company of Barnesville, Minnesota (701-306-2330) supposedly bought some of Specialty Leathers equipment. I’ve not called that number as I’ve not had a need to, but might be worth a try. Let us know what you find out.

Update,

I sent a message to Dustin at Hough Fur and sounds like they are still getting set up and dialed in for beaver tail tanning and will be a few months still.

I talked to them at at our convention this fall and was impressed by what they had to say. Let's just hope they can follow through with it.
