Nope but we got 3 full stocked bars. A fella works up a sweat when we hit the blue water and a cold brew with the BBQ'ed rib eye goes down mighty nicely.

I remember in the Persian gulf we had a seal fpb come alongside for fuel, grub and water. They were some greatful with the 2 dozen beer we gave them. Liked that better then the fuel and water. Lol

Ya we used to do cross training. The y'alls always wanted to come to the Canadian ships but we weren't to keen on going to theirs. We had a pop can dispensing machine that was full of beer. Good times back in the day. Don't know what it's like these days.

This was back in the 90's. We had a couple limeys come over for a week cross training. The weren't so much into the beer but man did they like cheez whiz and peanut butter. Lol. I don't know how to post pics but I think I've got one in my stack of pics of our ship doing a RAS with the USS Lincoln. We have a different paint scheme then the USN but ya those carriers are pretty big and our ship really stands out. . Typically we'd sail as part of the carrier task force which composed of lots of different ships.
The RCN are leaders in ASW which we have been since ww2 when we escorted convoys across the Atlantic. We can hold our own in a air defense and surface warfare but like I said our main role is anti submarine.

Never had a problem with that but we did stock up on some beer in Halifax that we couldn't even give away. It was Moosehead or some kind of horrible tasting stuff. The pusser rum was pretty good and a guy could get a pretty good glow on.
