goldnut OP trapper G Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 4,276 western pa	The cables I bought say they cant be used on a metal roof. Has any one ever used them? Directions are useful only if you read them first. I already put them up then read where it said not to. I guess I will find out what happens. You can use these in the metal gutters if you suspend them. So im wondering since these cables are kinda suspended on the ridges the results may be good. Any thoughts? Thanks Ken

goldnut OP trapper G Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 4,276 western pa	When I called them it seemed more of a material issue. Like a heat sink. But it will mostly be suspended on top of the ribs. I do have the snow stops on the roof. The sliding ice was a problem last year and that is why im doing the deicing cables. I have 2 foot overhangs that love to freeze up.
