Travel back the last week from up that way . On top there is not enough snow for snow go but a little deep for atv . On either side could use atv but not snow go . But it has snowed some sense. According to my neighbor in central there is not enough snow that way to ride snow go . Neighbor will let me no on Sunday what snow conditions are. We are headed back up all next week to do some hunting and cabin work . Hope this helps . If your talking about hunting caribou there are some that have showed up but according to a friend who has flown area The majority of them are still holding up on other side of birch creek .

Go to 511 web site for current road conditions up the Steese.

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

Update 0 to 10 on summit and wind drifts that can be deep. On central side 2 to 3 inches . On Fairbanks side sounds about the same. That was as 6 o’clock this morning .

Headed up in morning myself but taking 4 wheeler. I don’t think there is enough snow for snow go yet there are big holders under snow with no packing yet . That or be insured . According to locals caribou are pretty scarce at moment but that can change pretty fast .
