Do you have it? If not, what is it and what's stopping you from getting it?

My dream job is to farm, and I do that when I’m not at work. Hopefully some day I can afford to farm full time. Starting from scratch is what’s stopping me

To open up a restaurant, have thought of this several times and have had some chances but I know that means I'll be there all the time. Maybe when the kids grow up and our on their own I will look more in to this. I just don't want to miss any more than I already have with them.

Harold Ensley had a dream job. Made a good living putting a weekly half hour fishing show on. With all the competition now including you tube I think it would be tough to get enough viewers to sell advertising.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I wanted to be a gun smith when I was a kid , still sometimes think about it or firearms trainer.

I worked for myself once an I was a slave driver of a boss

So for now I work for a place with good insurance and the time off to volunteer as a firearms trainer for kids and do a little home gunsmithing and am the range director for the gun club.

I get to sleep most nights this way and not stress about a lot

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I'm 10 years into it now. 5.5 looking for land bought the land cash 5 years ago. The farm generates income but always operate at a loss. I travel to my job to support my farm hobby;) well and for the benefits.

Retired reserve Deputy is a great gig I work a few times a month often or for a week straight to keep my certification current. Worked as a Park Ranger/ CO last summer I was not wild about like I thought I’d be. Compared to Deputy work it’s like being neutered law enforcement wise it’s not for me.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Taxidermist so I could be self employed and write off hunting trips. Unfortunately I'm allergic to animal dander (always wearing gloves when doing trapping activities) and am color blind so painting fish is a nonstarter. LOL

A farmer friend of mine recently told me "you have to have an awful good job to be a farmer."

I had two dream jobs. The first was 24 years in the USAF, where I had a job that I enjoyed every day of it. It was a lot of fun and excitement. The second was a full time beaver trapper for 30 years. I've been a full time lure maker and Trapperman custodian for the past 24 years. I'm also a semi-retired beaver trapper. I can honestly say I've never had a job that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

A man / woman has to like the work they do or they will never be any good at it.
