The following Victor Double Grip Traps are offered for sale. These early muskrat stoploss traps are elaborate examples of some of the developmental traps that were attempted for stopping muskrat wring off. These traps proved difficult to set with wet cold hands, cumbersome to conceal or bed and prone to damage and failure. There were just two sizes, the 40s with a zero jump as the center trap and the 41 with a #1 trap in the center. Only the single 41 offered here was ever made while the 40 version was made with the center jump traps mounted crosswise or lengthwise to the base. Most 40s were made with small pans
but a few had large pans and those are scarce.



This #40 trap with cross jump trap is scarce and in near new condition and priced at 300.00.



This second #40 is a varient with lengthwise center trap and the scarce large pan. It is in used but complete condition for 250.00. THIS ONE SOLD



This third trap is a 41 that is used but in good condition and is priced 225.00.
