.355
Hornady is making a 170gr soft point
I don't reload for it but it is speced at .355 as in it is a 9mm not a .357
there was a little controversy early on over if it would be legal in Ohio that specifies a .357 cal bullet in the law and it is technically .355 but apparently someone decided it was close enough.

350 is about the only shell at walmart you better not tell them they make 350 legend AR-15s or they won't have that either most of what I see on the shelf for 350 Legend is the 147gr FMJ in the WIN USA brand I wonder how much of it they had made in 2019 when they released it I would guess a warehouse full. date codes on the box would be interesting.

great round, went 2/2 this year. Both deer down quick. Where was shot placement? I hit one at around 100 yards quartering to me front tip of shoulder thought I would see her drop she ran off, get yo where she was standing no hair or blood. Walk toward where she ran and went about 50 yards and there she lay in the brush. No blood till she fell.

I'm hoping to find a good bullet for it myself. I just got a new upper in .350L. I'm concerned about it though since I recovered a bullet from one in the deer my boy shot with his .44 mag. It was lodged in the top of the shoulder above the spine and mostly healed up. Must of been shot early first season so it carried it for about two weeks. Here's the two .44 and the .350L recovered from the deer, I want a bullet for .350L that will expand like the .44 ... How are you sure it was shot with a 350 vs someone with a 9mm? Bullet weight above 147gr I am guessing would be the best guess ?

I killed several with it Just some minor cons, more recoil, higher cost per round

there were some small companies making 170gr soft points a year or two ago now Hornady has one
https://www.hornady.com/bullets/rifle/35-cal-.355-170-gr-sp#!/
I heard good things about the 170gr stuff in loaded ammo
the 170 puts it about neck in neck with the 30-30 and 35rem

Win 150 gr xp plastic tip. Blood trail What's left of the heart. Hopefully will have some pictures of what the 170gr Hornady interlock do on Saturday.

https://www.hornady.com/bullets/rifle/35-cal-.355-170-gr-sp#!/ SAAMI specs has the .350 as a .357 actual diameter so that pretty well killed the controversy. I would prefer a rename though. https://saami.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/350-Legend-Public-Introduction-Rev-2021-06-04.pdf
