Yes. I’m not home to measure but they sure do.

Have you caught anything in them with the rubber jaws? I would not dream of removing the rubber jaws on that particular trap. Generally I am not a fan of rubber jaws, but the man who designed these traps nailed it. The rubber lasts next to forever and they prevent all movement of the foot in trap preventing damage and escape.
I use them for coyotes, fox and raccoon and have yet to walk up on an empty trap circle.

I don’t own any. Was curious if they had an off set. If the jaw spread is 5 1/2 or more we have to have a 3/16 offset. If they are off set might could add lamination

GHose does NC account for the rubber pads on the trap EVEN WITH the larger jaw spread? I say that because most states will say offset with lam.s or rubber pads...that’s BMP study info.
But no matter 52Carl hit it on the head...don’t use the Jake without the pads.

NC considers a rubber jaw trap as an offset trap. It is not spelled out in the regulations but it is interpreted that way.

I have modified lots of Jakes for customers

Take off the rubber pads and added laminations

Worked great according to the customers

Thanks Harold, I didn’t know that.

I've got some Jakes with bolt on lamination strips, so I can put rubber back on. It made a lot of sense to go that route.
