We have four small raised beds that we plant every year. This year for the first time, we have had none of the worms in our zucchinis. They have been producing so well, Rhonda is looking for unlocked cars to stash some zucchinis in. She has been making zucchini bread, zucchini brownies, baked zucchini and looking for more recipes. I've made a few batches of zucchini pickles. Four zucchini plants Maters are doing well too. Four bell pepper plants are making lots of peppers Green beans and cukes. These aren't doing as well as the other veggies. After I planted them, Rhonda said she saw where beans and cukes shouldn't be planted in the same beds.

It always surprises me what the admiral gets out of her small garden. It will sure save you a trip or five to the grocery store Paul.

Your causing climate change with that fire back there, lol. X2. I think the heat from that fire settled over Arkansas. Dried up the rain, turned up the heat, and burnt up my little garden. lol.

Man that brings back memories. The Victory Garden was one of the shows I always watched on Saturdays as a kid. It, The New Yankee Worksop, This Old House, and some that slip my mind all came on together.

If you want to super charge your zucchini harvest, take some scissors or knife or sharp edge object and cut off all leaves from the vine that do not have flowers. When the flower part is done, male or female, cut the leaf and the flower stalk off all the way down to the stalk. This triggers the plant to go back into a higher reproduction rate and the zucchini will come in buckets from the very tips of the plants. They look naked but it puts them in "oh crap" mode.
It also really helps prevent powdery mildew as it allows for much better air flow. It also cuts down on squash bugs. Only do this if you want to be even more flush with squash/zucchini.
Nice plots boss.
