When I bought my farm here 28 years ago and cut my driveway through the woods I had a couple of chipmunks that I saw everyday. Haven't seen one in 15 years or more. Riding 4 wheelers with my daughter a couple of weeks ago I saw one cross the path over a mile from our house.

Rented a house in Sevierville Tennessee over Easter. Chipmunks everywhere, in and out of holes. Looked like a game of whack a mole. Wish I had taken a couple of live traps and relocated a few back here at home. Before you self appointed game wardens preach the rules, rest assured that I trapped nothing. I would like to see them make a comeback in our area but not going to happen without assistance.

Love/Hate them. Fun to watch but can really do damage to buildings/vehicles.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Do you have a cat? They pretty well take care of chipmunks.

I have no idea why you would want those destructive critters around your property.

Fun to watch.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

We have some here. They provide a bit of entertainment when things are slow in the deer stand. Not so many around that they cause a problem.

Do you have fishers in your area? They cleaned out my woods a few years ago and I'm just starting to see a comeback on squirrels and such.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

The chipmunk became protected in my area years ago. That's too bad. Many a young lad or lady built woodsmanship skills hunting them. We wore full camo and sported bb guns, pellet and .22. Dad would give a nickle for each tail. If enough were taken we could buy more ammo for next time.
