It's time that I need a new pair of hip boots. Always loved the lacrosse heavy duty trapper hip boots. With them up to almost 200$ I was wondering what everyone on here is using and If there is a cheaper option.

I now just get a cheap pair at a local goodwill type store each year.

at the trapping convention, I think I paid $120 for the lacrosse

Yotetrapper30 is spot on.. I put about 150 nights a year in hip boots and these are some of the best wearing and most comfortable you will find..

Rat trapping is spotty here some years we have them then poof they are gone for a few years so I don’t invest much in waders chances are they would rot before the second year I would get to use them.
