I have been noticing and some of my friends have noticed this too , ever since the plandemic and the crazy prices/inflation etc , there is way more $1 bills and $5 bills in my wallet. $10 bills are scarce , $20-$50-$100 bills about the same even though they get spent faster.

Just lots of $1 and $5 bills in my wallet more than normally.

Almost all 20's 50's and 100's here.
I throw the 1's and 2's in a jar roll them up and cash them in 3 or 4 times a year.usually good for 300 or 400 each time including the few bucks of quarters dimes and nickels.

i opened up mine and a moth flew out. that count for anything?

I had some 20s till I found #6 game loads on the shelf , now 4 1s are all that are left

Kinda off the topic, but I just read where the US is going to discontinue making pennies in 2023. Cost more to make a 1 cent piece than its actually worth.

last I heard 1.7 cents to make a penny that was 27% inflation ago so about 2.1 cents to make a penny.

thing is how many do they really need to make if you turn them in for dollars they could circulate the same ones a long time

Don't carry either, creads. holder and a eagle tucked away. There is a 5 and a 1 Fed. Res. Note on my coffee table though.

For those in the US that aren’t familiar with Canadian currency - they do not have one and two dollar bills/notes. They have coins. The loonie and the toownie. Carry around twenty dollars worth of those put a strain on the pockets of your pants .
