Is there anyone making a 25gr - 30gr hollow point bullet? I'm looking to start handloading for my 17 Remington again. Remington and Hornady both have discontinued manufacturing 17 hollow points. Yes, I know it's a terrible time to try and find reloading supplies; but, I figured I ask around.

Not very good for fur.
They quite making the good one. Well I have found just the opposite to be true in regards to the Hollow Point opening size. Of all the bullet's I've tried the Hollow Point's with larger opening's where the most fur friendly 17,20,& 22 cal. used mainly on Coyotes! 17 Remington is a very COOL cartridge have fun!!!

Black Hole Bullets 208-691-8541 in Idaho and Reeds Ammunition & Research in Oklahoma. Make sure your rifle has a 1 in 9" twist barrel for shooting the 30 gr. bullets. Good Luck!!

Bucks and bears is right, the small hollow point is the good one. The bucket mouth will splash as often as not. Well Well we are really splitting hairs on this one? Lol. Lets just say 25 gr. H.P. bullets work better on Fox size animals and 30 gr. H.P. bullets are Best for Coyotes!!!
