Auction on ebay has 5 old rat traps for one money. Last I saw the bidding was up to $2150. Can anyone tell me the name of these traps, Apparently they are pretty rare to be getting such high bids. Any information appreciated.

I ' ve never seen U.S. made traps like those before, but can't really say for sure they aren't . One possible explanation for such a high price could be the seller or an associate are bidding the price up themselves, not uncommon on ebay. The high binder when I looked was doing a lot of bidding against thierself.

Wissmiss, I just typed in " 5 rat traps" and scrolled down a bit and found them that way.

That's not how ebay works. If bidder A has a high limit of $500 and bidder B bids $400 then bidder A's bid appears an increment higher until someone tops bidder A. Don't get get me wrong fake bidding does exist especially when you see low numbers of transactions bidding ridiculously high.

May be that wasn't the right way to put it. If the bid is at $35 and bidder A bids $500 then the bid only goes up one increment.
