Citi card pays cash back in check no gimmicks no fees and they speak English with great service. That hasn't been my experience. Had trouble getting charges at an AR supply business approved. Foreign folks on the phone. Cancelled the card and had trouble with that. No more Citi for me!

You spent 75k a year on cabelas card?
when my wife worked the farm co-op , 75K was not uncommon at all on a credit card , every dollar of fuel , feed , fertilizer. went on that card , a bunch of them had cards that paid for a vacation every year they were very upset when the co-op started charging a fee for using a credit card. it was hitting them for thousands in what they were taking as personal gain. it was just a tool of farm/business management

Not a good idea using a debit card since that is linked directly to your bank account. It's harder to get your money back due to a fraudulent charge. With a credit card, they just charge back where ever that fraud occurred and you are free and clear.

Ditched my Cabela's Card about a year ago and haven't looked back. I opted for the Citi Double Cash Card and have been very pleased. It pays 1% at the purchase and 1% when you pay your bill. I have never carried a monthly balance and I play the game and charge as much of my expenses as I can to the card. The dollar value can be used to apply to your balance, receive direct deposit or check for cash, shop and use for payment at Amazon and other places. I have traveled, purchased guns, gun parts, ammo, etc without any issue. Thank you

Not a good idea using a debit card since that is linked directly to your bank account. It's harder to get your money back due to a fraudulent charge. With a credit card, they just charge back where ever that fraud occurred and you are free and clear. I’ve been using two debit cards linked to two separate bank accounts for decades. Scammers got a hold of my numbers and made fraudulent charges three or four times during that period. The latest incident, somebody used my card numbers linked to my business account to purchase a couple thousand dollars worth of tools at two Home Depot‘s in Florida. Each time my bank issued me provisional credit as soon as I noticed the fraudulent charges. I’d give them a call, tell them I did not make the purchases and they instantly issued me credit for the fraudulent amount. After they and the credit card company who issued the card did their investigations, the credit stood.
Eh...wot?

Yes. Looking at cards with better rewards now. I run every expense I can on the card including electricity bill, business insurance, equipment, fuel, etc.

My credit union (and I suspect most all credit unions and banks) provides the same exact protection against fraud as any credit card company would . You can also rent hotel rooms, car rental, purchase airline tickets.....yada yada. So many myths out there about debit cards, but I suspect the credit card companies like it that way....
