Results aren't great, but better than I would have expected.
Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

Interesting that they break down the % of sales/averages of different sizes, sections in beaver and some others.
Cat prices and clearances weren't all that bad. Hope for the lower grades anyway.
With the twists and turns of the castor market it will be interesting to see what it sells for. I wonder if FHA lowered the valuation on castor based on what has been happening in the country.

I received the same as last season just this past week BP. It will be interesting to see.
April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

When do they sell castor? That otter average is terrible. Definitely do better in the country than that. I think castor is PT'ed several days after the conclusion of the sale. As far as otter go, be thankful those 4000 otter (or how many ever) weren't choking up our local sales so that we could get what we get from the craft market.

Country sales do not include charges for Cities tag registrations, auction fees, brokers fees, packing fees, shipping, border inspections, etc. At a country fur auction the buyer picks up their otter and leaves. The additional charges that the auction has to add on to the purchase of skins (particularly Cities tag) is frequently more than what the pelt sells for. Complain to your Senator or congressman that the Endangered Species Act really needs to be updated, there is no need for otter, bobcats or black bears to be listed in Appendix II in the Endangered Species Act.

Then the folks buying otter at FHA should be buying them from large country buyers.
