Yep, thats one of the items that still need to be addressed. Dad is really good at following lines and using tools, but struggles with seeing shapes in his head and making them in the wood. He has me help with that by looking at the stocks as he progresses.

where is he getting his stock blanks ?I have built a few percussion rifles but been out of it for a few years but with retiring this fall im thinking about building rifles again

He has gotten most of them from Pecatonica. He is about and hour and a half away, so he drives there to pick them out. Start getting parts now. Prices are increasing fast and the supply is very tight.
