I was sent 10,000 miles away to fight for freedom, so I sure would not plan to leave the USA . We have a nation that is about 20 times larger then the Ukraine so finding places to either fight, recoup or hide out are plentiful.
I don't feel that push comes to shove that as many as some think would leave or not fight. There are whole sections of the Ukraine that are basically Russian in language and other connections and I don't know how many have fled to Russia. The idea that males between a certain age can't leave may be the way to go if there is a major land invasion. The fact that 335 million is about 8 times what the Ukraine has also factors in the equation. We are not nearly as land locked as the Ukraine is either so creating a defense as not as difficult.

If we were invaded they would get me without a doubt but I suspect I could detain them for a while. Well, at least until the whiskey and tobacco ran out anyway. When that is gone then I am going to get just flat mean. Remember that there is no such thing as "cheating" in war either.

Just come across the southern border, then Biden would fly them where ever they wanted go.

I dont really know how someone would invade the US. I figure our big fight is going to be against our citizens who are running out of food - and us country folks who have a big garden and plenty of deer are going to have to protect what we have. If someone did invade us - compare Ukraines 9 guns per 100 citizens and our 120 guns per 100 citizens. We just sent Ukraine 1,000,000 rounds of ammo that was supposedly good for 33,000 rifles - 30 rounds per rifle. One good night of hog hunting for me. It is estimated US citizens possess one TRILLION, or more, rounds of ammo. Compared to the million rounds of ammo just sent to the Ukraine - a Trillion rounds is a million times the million rounds sent to the Ukraine. I know dozens of citizens with thermal or night vision. I know guys who hit a four inch gong more times than not at 1000 yards. I know a couple guys who own flame throwers. Not to mention any govt equipment that might be left after a bombing campaign.

WhiteCliffs, if it gets to point people have to depend on wildlife you will be eating more sparrows and rats than deer. The deer will disappear fast. So will possums rabbits squirrels coons and muskrats. Plenty of starlings around. Might get to eat a starling once in a while. Your better off to be friend cattle producers. Find a way to make yourself valuable to one. Maybe as a herd guard or a good man with a scythe in hay season.

As stated, we are being/have been invaded and there's no fight. The next thing would be an air invasion and we'd have to trust the military to handle that.
