All of them, as the makers will cut production of the civilian cal's to fill the Gov contracts.

In the times we are in now, we need to stay stocked up on everything we need to keep ourselves, our families, our friends and other people, who count on us, taken care of. It may be a long while before we can just buy what we want, when we want it. Ammunition stores very well if kept dry and out of extreme temperatures.

Yep. Whatever gun you don't have more ammo than you'll ever need for, you better be looking. worst case scenario you only need to buy bullets for any new guns as the years go by

I am as anti goverment as you will find, but will not ever believe that the government has or ever will suppress the ammo supply to the general public.
The reason you could not find ammo or reloading components the last 2 years is due to your neighbor. People hoarding because of civil instability. This country supplied ammunition during ww2 on 2 fronts almost 80 years ago on much less efficent machinery without issue. As a matter of fact, there is still loads of it available to be bought. Does anyone really think the military does not have enough ammo in stock to fight a very limited engagement war??
My oldest son is a Marine. You would not believe the amount of ammunition they expend weekly recreationally shooting. Mostly with ammo with headstamps from the 80s

not sure if things heat up in EU
the only things I see hitting shelves or staying on them in any quantity is 223 and 308 fmj
if you don't have years worth of what you use stocked , I wouldn't pass a fair price you can afford. and ditto on primers
I agree with you longrangkilla , the government demand is fairly stable , stock piled and even if they bought every active duty and reservist 5K rounds it wouldn't equal what the civilian market sucked in the last 2 years.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

If they invoke the defense production act, it could cause an issue. Though I think something on the order of WW3 would have to happen for that to hurt ammo supplies.

Not disagreeing with anyone but some of the ammo shortage was due to the DHS ordering 1.6 billion rounds, with no advanced notice, from the few remaining U.S. producers, (putting them behind) and by law govt. contracts must be filled before ammo for domestic use can be produced and shipped. Coupled with the new gun buyers entering the market, couple that with those of us that have seen it before and the unknown result of an upcoming election and took steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones as we saw fit. This created a perfect storm for ammo manufactures. If we went to full scale war again the domestic producers would build and buy new facilities to meet production demands. I live 30 minutes south of an old ammo production facility that is the size of a small town. Cyclone fence all around and so grownup you can hardly see the buildings. Just my opinion others are free to have there own. Case

GreenCP, sir please remember to add the total federal police agencies into your equation, DHS ordered millions of rounds for the post office, why does my postman need bullets, and by the way another point. All 1.6 billion rounds ordered were for hollow point ammo not even allowed for military use as per the Geneva Convention they were all for domestic police forces. After seeing this I guess you would have to read my other post on this thread. Please and thank you. Case

Case I read both of your posts and I must say it’s refreshing to see some common sense and a memory that goes back more than a few months. I remember saying to myself Huh? Why does the USPS need millions of rounds? Must have been quite the sale.

I mean, I don't understand the question. There have only been 2 calibers available here in the past 3 years. .22LR and 350 Legend.
